About Emily Klass - Abstract Landscape Painter

Contemporary abstract landscape painter Emily Klass creates vibrant acrylic paintings inspired by the mountains and deserts of the American West. Splitting her time between Park City, Utah and Los Angeles, Emily brings over two decades of artistic experience to her large-scale landscape abstractions.

A Salt Lake City native, Emily earned her BFA from the Rhode Island School of Design, where she studied sculpture before building custom bicycle frames. After developing her practice in Brooklyn, she completed her MFA at the School of Visual Arts in New York City, immersing herself in contemporary art and expressive painting techniques.

Two decades after leaving Utah, Emily returned to the Intermountain West that deeply inspires her colorful abstract landscapes. Her atmospheric landscape paintings reflect an emotional connection to the Rocky Mountains, Utah's high desert terrain, and the dramatic Western landscapes she experienced throughout her childhood and now explores as a Park City-based contemporary artist.

Emily's jewel-tone landscape paintings and textural acrylic works are available for collectors seeking original abstract landscape art.
